Notable New Products: Chocolate Bar Flights, Hot Truffle Honey and “Designer" Gochujang

In this week's notable new products roundup, Immi celebrates AAPI month with its first new flavor launch in two years, DaRosario spices up its line of truffle honeys and Bubbies kicks off summer early with a new mochi variety.

Bowlcut x Ji Won Choi

Condiment brand Bowlcut teamed up with designer Ji Won Choi to create a limited edition gochujang sauce. According to the brand, the new offering is "an evolution of traditional savory-spicy Korean gochujang" and is crafted with a Gochujang base, chili puree, sesame and garlic. Bowlcut x Ji Won Choi is available direct-to-consumer via the brand's website for $14.99 per 6 oz. jar.

Jcoco has unveiled its newest product innovation, chocolate tasting flights, available in high percentage milk chocolate flavors or a full spectrum of dark cacao percentages. The Milk Chocolate Flight includes Mango Plantain, Edamame Sea Salt and Crisp Quinoa Sesame flavors while the Dark Chocolate Flight features 85% Single Varietal Contamana Cacao, 61% Smoked Alaskan Sea Salt and 72% Black Fig Pistachio varieties. Both flights are available online for $9.99 each.

Immi

To celebrate AAPI month, plant-based, high-protein, instant ramen brand Immi has launched its first new flavor in two years: Spicy Red Miso. The umami-packed miso broth features tasting notes of cayenne pepper, garlic and vegetables. In conjunction with the broth, Immi has rolled out a softer, "more slurpable" noodle that cooks in a shorter amount of time (6 minutes) across its portfolio of soups. Immi Spicy Red Miso is available via the brand's website for $39 per 6-pack or $72 per 12-pack.

Mariani

Premium dried fruit brand Mariani has announced a new line of Fruit Chips. Available in two varieties at launch – Mango and Pineapple – the chips are made from 100% dried fruit. According to the brand, the snacks are made using a "unique" drying process that uses less energy than traditional drying methods, reducing the brand's carbon footprint. Mariani Fruit Chips are available via the brand's site for $3.89 per 1 oz. pouch.

DaRosario

DaRosario has expanded its lineup of truffle-infused honeys with two new products: Organic Truffle HOT Honey and HOT Honey. The former is made with truffle varieties such as Tuber Magnatum Pico and Tuber Melanosporum sourced from Italy and both condiments are packaged in squeeze bottles.

Partake

Allergy-friendly snack brand Partake unveiled its newest innovation, Classic Graham Crackers. Like the rest of the brand's products, the new offering is vegan, gluten-free and top 9 allergen-free. Partake Classic Graham Crackers will be available at Target stores nationwide beginning June 4.

Bubbies

Bubbies has expanded its lineup of mochi ice cream with a new Mocha Chip flavor. With each piece containing 90 calories, the mochi are filled with mocha chip ice cream and then wrapped in chocolate mochi dough. Bubbies Mocha Chip is now available at retailers nationwide including Whole Foods, ShopRite, Dave's Marketplace, Roche Bros., Wegmans and Harmons for a suggested retail price of $5.99 to $6.99 per 6-count box.

BRIANNA’S

To celebrate National Salad Month, BRIANNA's Fine Salad Dressing is launching four new dressings in May: Home Style Garlic Vinaigrette, Sugar-Free Rich Poppy Seed Dressing, Sugar-Free Blush Wine Vinaigrette, Avocado Oil Ceasar. Additionally, the brand will soon launch a seasoned crouton line in Honey Mustard, Sweet Onion and Parmesan and Fine Herbs varieties.

HOMEBAKE

The Kraft Heinz Company unveiled its newest brand, HOMEBAKE, a "mix-and-match collection" of frozen entree, side and veggie dishes. Due to the technology used in the HOMEBAKE roasting pan, the brand claims, all offerings are designed to cook together in one standard oven at 425 degrees for 30 minutes. At launch the line is debuting with main dishes, which come in varieties including Chicken Parmesan and Southwest Style Chipotle; side dish, available in options such as Loaded Scalloped Potatoes and Homestyle Mac & Cheese; and vegetables, with options such as Mexican Cream Corn and Green Bean Casserole.
