Bread sold at Giant Tiger has been voluntarily recalled.

Wonder Brands bread products sold at Giant Tiger have been recalled.

Giant Tiger issued an "urgent" voluntary product recall notice on Monday, Oct. 28.

The recall notice states that "out of abundance of caution," Wonder Brands Inc issued a voluntary product recall for some bread products "due to a potential foreign material in the products."

The notice did not provide detail about what the potential foreign material is.

Metroland Media is awaiting a response from Wonder Brands for further details.

Wonder White Bread - 675g, Wonder White Hotdog Buns 8-pack, 384g, Wonder White Hamburger Buns 8-pack - 408g, Giant Value White Bread - 675g, Wonder 100 per cent Whole Wheat Bread - 675g, Country Harvest Everything Loaf - 600g and Country Harvest 14 Grains Bread - 600g have been included in the recall.

Lot code numbers NO 03 KR, NO 04 KR, NO 07 KR, NO 08 KR, NO 09 KR are included in the recall.
